A wildfire dubbed the Seven Bays Fire in Lincoln County has burned 700 to 800 acres and is 0% contained, the Washington State Department of Natural Resources said Monday.
The wildfire has burned more than 1,200 acres since it was sparked by lightning on Wednesday.
Officials said the terrain is difficult and the fire is burning heavy timber, slash and beetle-infested trees.Crews have also been using dozers, masticators and other resources to build and strengthen containment lines.©2022 Cox Media Group
