The National Weather Service in Fort Worth says there could also be some flooding and flash flooding as a result of storms coming in with a cold front Sunday evening.
A cold front moving into North Texas Sunday night will bring with it severe weather, high wind speeds and “very large hail,” according to the National Weather Service in Fort Worthsevere weather to North Texas
The cold front is expected to move into North Texas by around 7 p.m., according to the service. Before that, a heat advisory is in place due to a heat index of 105 to 112.
