He did open up a bit about what happens after Jackson and Maeve’s split: Don’t expect them to get back together, let alone that much screen time of them interacting. There isn’t even really a heartfelt conversation or anything. They just go their own ways, especially as Jackson paves his own path at Moordale, coming into his own, and a friendship with new character Viv.
