In this June 25, 2019, file photo, a FedEx delivery truck is loaded by an employee on the street in downtown Cincinnati.In an incident captured last month on a San Francisco resident’s Nest Doorbell, the delivery driver — without leaving their vehicle — threw the resident’s package with such force and velocity that it sounded like a “loud bang at the door.”, said that the package slamming the door sounded like an intruder trying to break into their home.
The package’s contents, fortunately, were not damaged. Neither was the door. But the individual said they complained to FedEx, not wanting a repeat, and got what appeared to be a boilerplate response from the company. After multiple attempts at getting a response, they ended up posting the clip onto Nextdoor in the hopes that it would get attention online. And it did.
