A gunman opened fire in a Colorado gay nightclub early Sunday and left at least five people dead and at least another 18 injured, according to police.
Colorado Springs Police responded to a shooting at around midnight local time. The incident occurred at Club Q, an LGBTQ+ club, on North Academy Blvd.
Lt. Pamela Castro of the Colorado Springs Police Department said police received a report of a shooting at Club Q at 11:57 p.m. Club Q is a gay and lesbian nightclub that features a "Drag Diva Drag Show" on Saturdays, according to its website.posted on its Facebook page
