Simply put, we're really feeling neon right now. Be it the current heatwave we're experiencing or the general free-spiritedness that comes with summer, there's just something about wearing electrifying hues we can't get enough of. And while we've seen bold shades such as lime green, neon orange, hot pink, and bright yellow become street style staples and fixtures on both the runway and red carpet, hands down, our favorite way to make this trend our own is through our makeup.
Another reason we love neon makeup so much? As makeup artist Rebecca Ashley explains, it looks amazing on all skin tones, so there's no need to worry about a certain hue clashing or falling flat on your specific complexion."Something really vivid can look just as beautiful on someone very fair and someone who has a deeper skin tone," Ashley says.
