Simone Biles turned 23 over the weekend, and if one of her first Twitter posts of her"[Michael] Jordan year" is any indication, she has no plans to stop demanding accountability and answers from USA Gymnastics in regards to the horrific sexual abuse charges and cases that have plagued the organization over the past several years.
USA Gymnastics, the sport's governing body in the country, celebrated Biles' birthday with a tweet on Saturday. Accompanied by a video of some of her highlights, the post read:"HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the most decorated gymnast of all time, @simonebiles! We know you will only continue to amaze us and make history!"
The four-time Olympic gold medalist, and overwhelming favorite for the all-around title at the Tokyo Olympics this summer, responded shortly after by retweeting the post, and adding:"how about you amaze me and do the right thing... have an independent investigation"
