Embiid became the 10th player in NBA history to average 43 points and 10 rebounds and shoot at least 60% over a three-game span. His highlight was finishing with 53 points and 12 rebounds in Sunday night’s 133-113 victory over the Charlotte Hornets at the Wells Fargo Center. New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson was named the Western Conference player of the week after averaging 33 points and 8.3 rebounds and shooting 70.4% in three games.
