on the next leg of their WorldWired 2019 tour, but are now sending their support to the headliner after an urgent matter had them postponing their upcoming shows in Australia and New Zealand. that they couldn't move forward with the tour as planned, as frontman James Hetfield will be heading into a treatment program to address his ongoing struggles with addiction.
"We only recently heard the news about the tour being postponed, and we are working as quickly as possible to determine next steps," the band wrote in a brief statement they on Twitter. "Of course, our thoughts are with James and Metallica. We wish them nothing but the best."
