Davis Mills hasn't led the Texans to a win yet this season, but it's not time to turn to his backup Kyle Allen, writes sports Brian T. Smith.

No offense to Allen, obviously. The former Aggie/Cougar is still a good story. He’s only 26. And he proved with Carolina in 2019 that he can be a solid NFL QB with decent numbers.Allen completed 62 percent of his passes in 13 games that year, throwing for 3,322 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also threw 16 interceptions and was sacked 46 times, while going 5-7.
The Texans play respectable football, lose more winnable but ultimately frustrating games, and finish with a couple victories on the way to drafting the top QB in next year’s draft.I prefer to live in the real world. And in the real world, no one benches Mills to promote Allen on the only team in the NFL still without a victory.the Texans fell 34-24 to the Los Angeles Chargers
