Gal Gadot has opened up about Disney's upcoming live-action Snow White movie, teasing her portrayal of the Evil Queen.
“I think it was so much fun to play the Evil Queen,” Gadot said. “There was something so delicious with this part because it’s a fairy tale. It’s the first Disney villain. Because it’s a musical, I could stretch my performance and make it so much more dramatic and so much more animated, that it was just simply delightful.
I enjoyed it, and I changed my voice and I did all these different things. And it was just super fun, and I can’t wait to watch it.”Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation of Snow White is based on the studio’s first animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which debuted over 80 years ago and started Disney’s success with animated films. It was also inspired by the 1812 German fairy tale written by the Brothers Grimm.
