The valleys and the Inland Empire Wednesday can also expect cloudy conditions, with a high of 68 degrees. A "heat dome" forming over California is expected to increase temperatures to the low 80s in the region this weekend.Mountains can expect more sunshine in the afternoon and a high of 62 Wednesday.
Deserts Wednesday will be sunny, with a high of 76. Residents should be careful about blowing sand. Temperatures could reach the 90s this weekend, with Palm Springs possibly hitting triple digits.
