I am not sure I’ve ever seen a production plague with more leaks than Spider-Man: No Way Home, but it’s probably been hit with its biggest one yet.
“[it’s] one of the coolest scenes I’ve ever shot […] It’s four people sitting at a table, having a conversation about what it’s like to be a superhero, and it was amazing […] The other day we watched the scene, my brother and I, and our jaws were on the floor.”
Holland confirmed three of the people were him, Aunt May and Happy, so this is that scene, it seems, and the fourth person is Murdock. Matt Murdock appearing in No Way Home is not actually a multiverse thing at all. Even though this was back when Marvel TV and MCU movies were pretty separated from one another, the Netflix shows, Daredevil, Punisher, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist,technically still a part of the MCU and existed in that main universe.
I kind of doubt that Murdock will actually be suiting up as Daredevil here, but what’s exciting about this cameo is that it gives validity to other rumors that have said that Disney was bringing back Cox’s Daredevil for Disney Plus in some form. Some of those rumors stem around a link to an upcoming Echo series, which will allegedly feature Netflix Daredevil cast members, and then that may build to a full on revival of Daredevil itself, down the road.
Anyway, this is great. Yes, it was spoiled for me, but I am pumped this is happening at baseline. What will leak next? Who knows, I don’t even know what could be left at this point.
