Spurs announce release of more tickets for record-setting Alamodome game
The Alamodome will be the site of the Spurs' record-setting game against the Warriors on Friday, Jan. 13.SAN ANTONIO - Attendance for the Alamodome game just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
As of Thursday morning, 64,387 tickets are available for the game. The Alamodome was originally configured to accommodate 65,000 fans before it was adjusted due to the high demand. The Spurs announced Wednesday night that attendance stood at a record 63,592. The previous record was 62,046, set by Atlanta against Chicago at the Georgia Dome on March 27, 1998.
Indeed, the game will serve as the biggest celebration for the Spurs 50th anniversary and will feature limited-edition merchandise, pregame and postgame parties in the H-E-B Plaza, a halftime performance by ‘90s rap duo “Tag Team,” a pre-game light show presented by Ticketmaster and more.
