“Currently, due to weather conditions affecting the quality of chili peppers, we now face a more severe shortage of chili,” the letter read. “Unfortunately, this is out of our control, and without this essential ingredient we are unable to produce any of our products.”TODAY.com reached out to Huy Fong Foods for comment and learned that"limited production" recently resumed.
Fans of the brand will be disappointed to hear that it is unable to estimate when supplies will increase.
