Star Wars: The High Republic Phase I ended with the destruction of Starlight Beacon. Now, as Phase III begins, the Jedi survivors are being revealed.
Star Wars is finally revealing the Jedi who survived their worst defeat in the High Republic Era, the destruction of Starlight Beacon. The High Republic Era was a time of relative peace across the galaxy, peaking under the leadership of Chancellor Lina Soh some 200 years before the events of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. It was an age of exploration, one in which the Republic and the Jedi worked together to extend peace and prosperity across the galaxy.
7 Bell Zettifar Padawan Bell Zettifar has been on the front lines of the Jedi battles against the Nihil, and he has suffered greatly. His first master, Loden Greatstorm, was believed dead - only for the Jedi to ultimately learn he had been captured by the Nihil, becoming one of the first victims of the Nameless. Bell's second master, Indeera Stokes, was critically wounded toward the end of Star Wars: The High Republic Phase II, but appears to have survived the fall of Starlight Beacon.
5 Emerick Caphtor Emerick Caphtor is a skilled Jedi investigator, and he was assigned to research the first Jedi deaths related to the Nameless. His investigation proved fruitful in part due to an unexpected alliance with private detective Sian Holt, but too late to prevent the destruction of Starlight Beacon. Emerick arrived in time to help rescue Jedi Younglings and the newly-knighted Qort.
3 Qort Knighted shortly before the fall of Starlight Beacon, the Aloxian Jedi Qort played a key role in getting Jedi Younglings off Starlight Beacon. He showed tremendous bravery facing off against one of the Nameless, and actually survived its baleful influence. However, Star Wars: The High Republic Phase II has revealed exposure to the Nameless can result in a delayed death, so his fate remains something of a mystery even if he did get off the station before its destruction.
