'New York, New York,' a new musical based on Martin Scorsese's infamous flop, is making a brand-new start of it—save for a few key details. 🔗:

“Every night it’s electric in there, and I think it just proves yet again that timeless means timely,” he says of the show’s preview performances. “I think this return to form is not just operating in the writing, but in a meta way it’s commenting on the fact that this city is returning to its form again, it’s resurrecting again. He addressed the group and said, ‘You guys, you’re singing the song to Francine. Every single word you’re saying is entreating her to stay in the city and telling her why she’s meant to be here.
