Stephen Greif, who appeared in DoctorWho, Blake's 7, and The Crown, has passed away
Stephen Grief, a veteran British actor best known to American audiences for his role on Netflix's The Crown, has died. He was 78. Greif was an actor on stage and screen, appearing in a wide variety of projects from Blakes 7 and EastEnders to Doctor Who and Coronation Street. He first rose to notoriety in the late 1960s, when he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company.
"With great sadness we announce the death of our wonderful client Stephen Greif," said Michelle Braidman Associates in a statement posted to social media."His extensive career included numerous roles on screen and stage, including at the National Theatre, RSC and in the West End. We will miss him dearly and our thoughts are with his family and friends."
