The band Styx will play Aurora’s RiverEdge Park (360 N. Broadway St.) in July, according to an announcement Monday.

Styx, formed in Chicago in the early 1970s, is known for its rock anthems like “Come Sail Away” and “The Grand Illusion,” though lead singer Dennis DeYoung parted ways with the group in 1999.
