Suns Will Waive Chris Paul - RealGM Wiretap
The Phoenix Suns have informed Chris Paul that he will be waived, which will allow him to become a free agent this offseason, sources tell Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report.
The Suns had until late June to waive Paul with only $15.8 million of his $30.8 million salary next season guaranteed. Paul's production during the 22-23 season dropped off and he also was injured again during their playoff run. Paul plans to play for several more seasons and hopes to join a championship contender.
