Gone is a new sci-fi epic from Jock4twenty, whose past credits include Batman: One Dark Knight, Judge Dredd, The Losers, and Green Arrow: Year One. Published by DSTLRY_Media, coming October.
Jock, an acclaimed artist who previously did work on Batman, is releasing his own creator-owned series through DSTLRY. DSTLRY is a new comic book publisher founded by David Steinberger and Chip Mosher, who used to work at ComiXology up until last year. Lately, DSTLRY has been promoting The Devil's Cut as its first release, but that's not all the publisher has in store for readers.
DSTLRY Offers a First Look at Jock's Gone Gone takes place on a distant, impoverished planet where menial workers make money by resupplying starships. The comic will star 13-year-old Abi, who - driven by a desire to escape to new prospers - stows away on a colossal luxury space-liner with her streetwise friends. Unfortunately for Abi, these people are not who they seem, and she is eventually branded a saboteur.
