Tuscaloosa County authorities have a suspect in custody after several vehicle burglaries at the Mercedes plant.
The investigation led to the identity of a suspect vehicle and that information was distributed to Mercedes security and area law enforcement agencies.
On Tuesday, McDaniel said, deputies were notified that the vehicle was in the Mercedes parking lot and Patterson was taken into custody. No charges have been announced against a second person who was in the vehicle with Patterson.
