A suspect wanted for kidnapping a woman who later barricaded himself inside a west Harris County home is in custody, Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies said Monday.
According to Major Wayne Kuhlman with HCSO, deputies received a call of a suspicious person at 4:50 a.m. in the 16000 block of Thorn Cypress.
Kuhlman said the woman made a claim to deputies that the suspect allegedly kidnapped and sexually assaulted her.After a warrant was issued for the suspect’s arrest, SWAT was called to the home as deputies said the suspect refused to exit the home after attempting to talk to him.Kuhlman said the woman was treated by paramedics and is expected to be okay.
