The San Jose Police Department confirmed the pedestrian killed is the suspect wanted for a triple stabbing in San Jose earlier Wednesday morning.
CUPERTINO — A man suspected of being involved inwas killed Wednesday morning when he was hit by a truck on Highway 85, according to California Highway Patrol and police.
The collision was reported at 4:48 a.m. and police responded to Highway 85 in Cupertino just north of De Anza Boulevard. A man had been struck by a truck in the northbound lane second from the left, according to CHP officer Ross Lee.All northbound lanes of Highway 85 were initially shut down; the far-left lane was reopened before 6:30, according to authorities. All lanes will be reopened after the investigation.said they were notified at around 5:17 a.m.
