BREAKING: One injured in Monday morning shooting near 300 South Main Street. Suspect at large.
FILE — One person is shot in Salt Lake City, Utah in an incident on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021. The suspect of a downtown shooting that left one injured Monday morning remains at large.
Officers with the Salt Lake Police Department said that this incident began around 12:30 a.m. Monday, June 5, when the agency received information regarding an armed individual seen in the area of 300 South Main Street. Crews responded immediately and learned that the sole suspect had fired rounds after locating one gunshot victim with non-critical injuries.During the search, police found property damage and additional evidence of the shooting near 32 East Exchange Place and 300 South Main.Police say there are no other victims known of relating to this event.
