Susquehanna will continue to rise Sunday; other waterways have peaked

The Susquehanna at Harrisburg is expected to hit a peak of 12.6 feet Sunday evening, according to USGS projections, relative to a level of around five feet earlier last week; the Swatara Creek at Middletown is likewise expected to hit 10.8 feet later today, compared to a prior height of around four feet.
Smaller waterways in the region have already hit their highs, with the most significant being the Conodoguinet Creek, as measured by the USGS at Hogestown. The USGS rain gauge at Harrisburg showed total rainfall of just under 3.5 inches since Friday morning.
