The complaint accuses Taco Bell of “unfair and deceptive trade practices for falsely advertising the amount of beef and/or ingredients” in various “Overstated Menu Items.
”The lawsuit, which seeks $5 million, includes photos from Taco Bell advertisements compared with photos of actual products received. The suit states that the ads are “unfair and financially damaging to consumers ... especially concerning now that inflation, food, and meat prices are very high and many consumers, especially lower-income consumers, are struggling financially.”
