Houston Police officers responded to a shooting around 4 a.m. at a taco stand in the parking lot of a convenience store off Gulf Freeway and Monroe Road.
Investigators said the employee was closing up and had the money bag when an armed suspect walked up and demanded money. At some point, the suspect shot the employee and then ran off.Houston Police are checking area surveillance cameras for possible footage of the shooting.
