Tapping Into Minnesota’s Craft Beer Boom
Minnesota was no exception to the trend. In 2011, the state was home to. Today there are more than 170 breweries operating in the state. Those breweries pump out nearly 650,000 barrels of beer a year.
At the Minnesota State Fair, local breweries show off their classic brews as well as their more experimental ones,dreamsicle, elderflower, lavender, dragon fruit, push pop, pumpkin seed, cake, chocolate chip cookie, dill pickle, funnel cake, maple bacon and s’mores.
