On the Kenai Peninsula, there is hope for some Alaskans with dreams of owning a home — they just have to be willing to put a little sweat into it.

It was a shoulder-to-shoulder packed court room on Friday, as loved ones of Josiah Goecker waited for his alleged murder suspect, Jesse Lee Jones, to appear in court. Abatement continues today at one of Anchorage's largest homeless camps at Third and Ingra, plus Gov. Dunleavy ordered flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of Vic Fischer, who recently died at the age of 99.
