After Swift's Buenos Aires concert was canceled due to weather, the tight end dined with the singer and her dad.
Bye week is traditionally when players take “a break both mentally and physically from the NFL season,” Sports Illustrated notes, a time when they “recharge for the second half of the season.” So when Kelce was spotted in the Argentinian capital, it was fair to assume that he’d be doing his recharging at Swift’s second concert at the city’s Estadio River Plate. But that was not to be: about an hour before the concert’s 7 p.m.
Joining the couple was Scott Swift, Taylor’s dad and a standby at several Eras Tour stops, the Daily Mail reports. The trio reportedly ordered steak—not only an Elana specialty but a favorite dish in good old KC—from a private dining room, then left surrounded by a six-staffer “guard of honor” from the restaurant’s kitchen. All this seems pleasant and innocent enough—two thirtysomething adults and a parent, getting a high-protein meal in on their night off.
