A California teenager has filed an excessive force lawsuit after body camera footage showed an officer punching the unarmed teen in the head and face several times.
The lawsuit names the city of Fresno, the police department and Officer Christopher Martinez as defendants. “I punched Wallace approximately three times in the face in order to get him off me and to back him up," Martinez wrote in the report."Wallace continued to fight and he threw a punch at me, which grazed my left cheek."
