This is Sergeant Heather Glenn of the Tell City Police Department. She was killed this morning in a shooting at Perry County Memorial Hospital in southern Indiana.
PERRY COUNTY — Indiana State Police are investigating a shooting at the Perry County Memorial Hospital this morning that left a Tell City police officer dead.According to ISP, the incident occurred just before 2 a.m. EST when officers encountered a 34-year-old man in the hospital.
After encountering the man, gunfire was exchanged. The suspect and Sergeant Heather Glenn both were struck and died at the scene.
