Forecasters say the cold air that arrived with wild winds from Canada will sink to the ground overnight, producing two of the coldest nights of the winter Wednesday and Thursday
Temperatures along the coast of San Diego County will fall into the 30s before dawn on Wednesday and Thursday due to the cold air that was left behind by Tuesday’s wild winds from Canada, the National Weather Service said.
Forecasters said the temperature will be in the low to mid-30s in many areas along the Interstate 15 corridor, roughly from Escondido to El Cajon. The mountains, which were receiving a few inches of snow Tuesday, will be in the 20s.
