Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed a restraining order against federal agents who are destroying state-owned razor wires at the Texas-Mexico border. The state of Texas claims that federal agents brought out an industrial forklift on Thursday to pick up spools of razor wires to let a large group of migrants get through.

This comes just two days after Attorney General Paxton filed a lawsuit preventing border patrol agents from cutting through razor wires placed along the Rio Grande. The lawsuit argues that federal agents have no authority to damage a state-owned property and calls the use of forklifts a "brazen escalation."
