Texas’ Republican Gov. Greg Abbott slammed New York City Democrats as “inhumane” during an appearance in the Big Apple Wednesday morning – and blamed President Biden’s border policies for the tragic fentanyl poisoning of a toddler at a Bronx daycare.
The governor’s comment referred to Nicholas Feliz Dominici, who died earlier this month when he inhaled fentanyl – a synthetic opioid 50 times stronger than heroin – at a daycare which later revealed to be a drug front. The conservative governor – who declined to say whether he planned to meeting with Mayor Eric Adams or Gov. Kathy Hochul on his visit – has come under fire over his decision to bus nearly 40,000 migrants from Texas to New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and other self-declared sanctuary cities across the US.Buses laden with hundreds of migrants bound for New York left Texas just last Friday – despite Gov. Hochul’s insistence that there is no room for them.
