Texas to stop reporting daily COVID numbers, will move to weekly report

The average COVID positivity rate over the last week sunk to 3.3 percent, a drop from 11.8 percent in January, according tothe baseline set in July 2020, withreporting either a decreasing or unchanging viral load compared to the previous week. The medical center also stopped reporting weekly data for two months last year, but McKeon described that as a necessary interruption to again update the way it tracked ICU space.
