The mysterious blonde character in The Flash trailer could give closure to an unresolved character arc in Batman: Returns. Apart from Ezra Miller's Barry Allen and his multiversal alter ego, The Flash features various supporting characters such as Ben Affleck's Batman, Sasha Calle's Supergirl, Michael Shannon's Zod, and Michael Keaton's Batman.
Michael Keaton's veteran Batman may have faced many of his iconic villains after defeating Jack Nicholson's Joker and Danny DeVito's The Penguin, and it's even possible he worked alongside a Robin at some point along the way. However, one unexpected character might be around to visit Batman in a The Flash cameo, which may or may not have been teased by The Flash's second full trailer.
The Flash Could Address The Ending Of Batman Returns Batman Returns ended with a climactic battle between Batman and the Penguin, simultaneous with a rematch between Catwoman and Christopher Walken's Max Schreck, her former boss. In revenge for her attempted murder, Catwoman confronts Max Schreck, but he shoots her five times, taking away the remaining lives she had after dying three times earlier in the movie.
