Watch the1975's Matty Healy (Truman_Black) hop on JKCorden's desk for intense 'I Like America & America Likes Me'
host and avowed No. 1 fan James Corden by hopping up on the boss' desk during Monday night's energetic performance. Healy, wearing an electric blue jumpsuit, started out on the stage with the band for the AutoTuned track about fear and insecurity, before scurrying across and taking a seat in Corden's chair, where he bellowed the lines "I'm scared of dying/ You're set on fire/ Am I a lair?/ No gun required.
" As his voice took on a cracked urgency, the band's two female back-up dancers jerked to life behind him for the run through the tune from late year'sHealy propped his red Converse high-tops on the desk, gave a thumbs up, let out a yelp and jumped up onto the desk, his face looking down into the camera as he danced, pouted and pushed the lens to the side to spotlight the rest of the band before finally making his way back to join them.
