An Upper West Side community board voted firmly against a proposal to turn a shuttered newsstand into a rest space and e-bike charging station for delivery workers, with one resident calling it a 'very, very dangerous thing to do.'

“They should be doing a lot better by their workers than they are,” he said. “Right now they're basically doing nothing except collecting money.”
