The FBI Is Now Using At Least One Ford Mustang Mach-E | Carscoops carscoops
stand out from a regular one you’ll find on the street is the blue livery with large ‘FBI’ and ‘Police’ motifs, as well as a large badge on the doors. Unlike a typical law enforcement vehicle, however, the Ford lacks any visible flashing lights and shouldn’t attract too much attention to itself.
This particular Mustang Mach-E appears to be the sporty GT variant, as evidenced by the standard GT wheels and the unique front-end treatment. These wheels measure 20-inches at all four corners and are wrapped in 245/45 All-Season tires. In terms of power, the Mustang Mach-E GT features a pair of electric motors that combine to produce 480 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. Those figures allow it to hit 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. The EV can also travel 270 miles on a single charge and thanks to its electric all-wheel-drive system, offers handling far superior to more conventional crossovers, perfect for the FBI.
This is the first time we’ve seen the FBI using a Mustang Mach-E GT but it is not the first government agency to use the all-electric Ford.
