After all, while all HDR products support the industry-standard but inferior quality"static" HDR10 format , at the time of writing LG, Sony, TCL and Vizio TVs only support Dolby Vision, while Samsung TVs only support HDR10+. Similarly, when it comes to 4K Blu-ray players that support both dynamic HDR formats, there are just a couple of decks from Oppo, a couple of players from Panasonic, and a couple of players from Pioneer. The rest only support one dynamic HDR format or the other - or neither.
