, David Fincher’s new movie for Netflix that has its world premiere Sunday in the Competition lineup at the Venice Film Festival. It then hits theaters on October 27 and launches on the streamer November 10.
The pic, based on Alexis Nolent and Luc Jacamon’s graphic novel series, stars Michael Fassbender and is Fincher’s first feature since 2020’sFassbender plays an assassin who battles his employers, and himself, on an international manhunt while insisting none of it is personal. Charles Parnell, Arliss Howard, Sophie Charlotte and Tilda Swinton also star. Andrew Kevin Walker adapted the graphic novel, which debuted in French via Casterman and was published in the U.S.
