He leaves a big void.
”Lindbergh might be described as the gentle giant of his field: His talent was enormous, and he never called attention to himself, but kept his focus on the subject. He was a proponent of “natural beauty,” who preferred not to retouch his images, as was the industry norm. He also liked to shoot outdoors. One of his most famous photographs appeared inin 1988, four years after he started working with the magazine.
