“Fast X,” which was in the No. 1 spot last Friday, slowed down to second, with $6.3 million in sales.It is the fifth movie series to do so, and now holds the title of No. 5 franchise of all time in earnings. “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3″ was in third place, with a $5.4 million take. It will be available toComedy-adventure “The Machine,” starring standup comedian Bert Kreischer, came in fourth, pulling in just over $3 million.
“The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” which was in third last week, landed in fifth, with $1.65 million in sales.
