HOW are we feeling, friends?
The film, based on the classic novel, doesn’t officially hit theaters until later this year — December 25, 2019 to be exact — but in this first glimpse, we’re given a peek at how director Greta Gerwig plans to interpret the Louisa May Alcott tale. In the clip, we’re introduced to each of the actors and theircharacters, and viewers watch as the glorious tale of growing up, romance, and sisterhood comes to life onscreen.
Much of the two and a half minute trailer is focused on Saoirse and her role as Jo March. From her aspirations of making it as a writer to a moment of romantic confessions shared with Timothée’s character, Theodore “Laurie” Laurence, the quick preview of the upcoming film is more than heart-stirring, and even includes a few laughs.
