On Jan. 6, Harvey Weinstein’s trial for rape and sexual assault is scheduled to begin in a New York courtroom. But the charges that the disgraced Hollywood producer will face reflect just a fraction of the allegations made against him. More than 80 women have publicly accused Mr.
Weinstein of hundreds of acts of sexual misconduct over the course of more than 30 years. These allegations reflect not just one powerful man’s lifetime of predatory behavior but also the challenges that the evolving law of rape and sexual assault must confront in the era of #MeToo.
