All eyes were on annasui as VIPs of art, design, and fashion came together to toast the opening of “The World of Anna Sui” at madmuseum in New York City.
The World of Anna SuiSui, known for reinventing vintage styles in a fresh, original way, has been a consistently celebrated American fashion designer since she came onto the scene with her inaugural fashion show in 1991.
The museum’s retrospective exhibition features 75 looks from the designer’s archives and explores her creative process and inspirations throughout the years.in the fall 1992 runway shows as well as the “silver Peruvian ensemble” from Sui’s spring 1994 show., Francisco Costa, MAD chairman Emeritus Barbara Tober, Brian Bolks, Karen and Eric Erickson, and others.Photo: David X Prutting / BFA.com
