U,S. Senatorial candidate David McCormick's position on reproductive rights is a threat to the health and freedom of women in Pennsylvania and across the country.

Before I retired, I worked as an OB/GYN for more than thirty years. Before I could start practicing medicine, I took an oath to do no harm. This promise to put the health of our patients first is the foundation of the work we do as doctors. As we near the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision to overturn Roe. v Wade, it’s impossible to ignore the fact that harm has become a key pillar of the Republican party platform.

When McCormick calls for his abortion ban without exceptions, is he thinking of the ten year old who came into my care for a c-section after she had been raped by a family member? And while these wins should be celebrated, we cannot afford to delude ourselves into thinking the fight is over.
