The Justice League’s worst nightmares revealed.

Warning! Contains spoilers for Knight Terrors! The Justice League and the rest of the DC Universe have come under attack by their worst nightmares. In DC's summer event Knight Terrors, a terrifying new villain named Insomnia has unleashed a powerful Nightmare Wave and trapped most of the Earth in a world of terrifying visions, forcing hero and villain alike to confront their worst fears.

Sleepless Queen Leading the Sleepless Knights in the field is a wicked terror known as the Sleepless Queen. In Knight Terrors: Zatanna, the Sleepless Queen leads the charge hunting down those who have resisted Insomnia’s Nightmare Wave and are currently running around awake.

Gun-Bat Knight Terrors: Batman saw the Caped Crusader plagued by his worst fears, which wound up taking the form of one of the most peculiar Sleepless Knights. As Deadman possessed Bruce's body, the hero came face-to-face with Insomnia, who used the Dark Knight's fears to create a terrifying monster: A large bat with a gun attached to its head, the ultimate embodiment of Batman's fear. The Gun-Bat is terrifying and could shoot powerful bullets from its head.

Sir Morbid and Maiden Iron Knight Terrors: Zatanna features two additional Sleepless Knights Insomnia has working the field: Sir Morbid and Maiden Iron. Neither is based on an existing DC hero, though they are terrifying in their own right. Sir Morbid is a creepy, centaur-like being who wields dual sickles while Maiden Iron is a giant suit of armor with a Demogorgon-like mouth on her chest.

‘Red Hood’ and ‘Robin’ Red Hood and Robin’s nightmares are based on the worst moments of their respective lives. In Knight Terrors: Robin, Tim Drake and Jason Todd each get a physical manifestation of a terrible event from their past. Red Hood faces off with a Jokerfied version of Jason while Tim encounters a nightmare fusion of himself and Captain Boomerang. The two manage to escape their dream, but not without being a bit shaken by the experience.
